Two recent articles I did for MyNatour are on ecotourism in Greece and Tunisia.
Both are ancient civilisations with an eye towards the future. Greece has a lot of fantastic ecotourism opportunities, like an organic winery and environmentally concerned sailing and diving excursions.
Tunisia, on the other hand, is still very much under development when it comes to ecotourism. They’re focused on sustainable tourism development, particularly in coastal areas and in ecoresorts. Sahara tourism is something that is of interest to them, but has remained challenging due to the fragility of the environment. Nonetheless, there are some interesting developments happening in Tunisia, and the future looks promising for ecotourism in that North African country.
