Ecotourism in India: Rich in History, Sustainable for the Future

Back again!

I’ve finally kicked back into my ecotourism writings for MyNatour, and here’s the latest bit on India. In it, I discuss crazy cool things like tea estates, trekking and white-water rafting at the base of the Himalayas, backwaters in Kerala, the Laccadives and their coral reef, the wildlife sanctuaries and National Parks, and green transportation in Ahmedabad.

Himachal Pradesh, at the foot of the HimalayasIt’s a pretty cool country, super rich in heritage and tradition, yet with the fantastic ability to see the future and adapt in a sustainable and responsible manner. When it comes to ecotourism, little is sacrificed in India.

Many thanks again to my darling friend Meg Cowan, who gave me some great leads and this gorgeous photograph. Mwah!
