At an alpaca weaving centre in Arequipa, Peru we found this little girl hanging out with her weaving mother. She was such a sweet little girl, so I asked to take her photo. I remember when I first reviewed my photos from that day, I was disappointed because the lighting and shadows weren’t well thought out for the photo. I soon realised that none of that really matters, because it’s the memory that’s important. This photo won’t win any photo contests, but I love it because it brings back so many great memories of the people we met in Peru, and just how lovely they were.
